I love haiku. This visual haiku is wonderful. It says a lot. You are not only great with the lens, but imaginative and creative in amazing ways. I love your work!

Hi William, I am here in Taipei and the Dutch artist is working with materials that I have used many times. I gave him suggestions on knots and handling materials to make his work better. We are in a group show and I look at the group to all do good work. But one person you can not say anything to. This work is so heavy.. so I say step back and look at your work and criticize it. I told the problematic artist nothing.

Bill, as usual you have presented a
very visually interesting set of images. To me It's not just a matter of seeing the images and saying "I like that because it's a good composition and it is visually pleasing and an example of great camera work". I end up studying it and what it is saying and looking at it many times over and wondering if "I got it" and exploring and (hopefully) discovering everything the images have to say to me.

Roy, the work is "heavy" in what way? Are you speaking in the complexity of idea's or the style and tone of the light and subject? Your observations intrigue me and I'd like to pursue this thread a bit more?

Jay, thanks for the comment as always. I do think at times my work can just sit on the surface of the paper and at times it's full of symbolism and more complex thought. Unfortunately I'd rather not set the course of discussion based on my eyes/intent but all of those who participate. As a fly on the wall I like to see, hear and feel how others react to the work.

Interesting that the man is not in the first photo. When does he appear (to the woman, I mean)?

You have to fill in those blanks Naomi.

The Pick ‘n’ Save shots remind me of some Julie & Johnny stuff (in a complimentary way, of course).
